Alvarez's 266 models, like the RD266CE Dreadnought Cutaway acoustic-electric guitar, are finished with a deep glass-like shine. Alvarez's mahogany top guitars have a focused sound with strong mids, great for recording and live work. The RD266CE features a SYS250 EQ and pickup and a chromatic backlit tuner. The Alvarez Regent Series aims to provide high-quality entry-level guitars with many of the same features and specifications you'll find in more expensive Alvarez guitars: like their bi-level bridge, scalloped bracing and PPS synthetic bone nut and saddle. The Regent Series has also been designed with the student in mind and has a slightly slimmer nut width, making it easy to hold and fret.
