Information:
Antonio Morales Nogués, was born in 1956 in Monesterio, Extremadura. Settling in Palma, Mallorca, at age 15, he started a career as a cabinetmaker, often crafting chess pieces and musical instruments on the side. His passion for guitars led him to apprentice under luthier George Bowden. In 1990, he left his joinery to fully devote himself to guitar making, working alongside Bowden to learn and innovate. Following Bowden's passing, Morales inherited his legacy, including materials, machinery, and knowledge, continuing the tradition of crafting quality guitars. His reputation grew internationally, earning accolades such as the gold medal of Palma de Mallorca in 2016 for his craftsmanship. Morales also collaborated closely with guitarist Paco de Lucía in his later years, helping perfect "La Maestro," his final guitar, and adjusting the instruments used on his last album, "Canción Andaluza."
