The M Yasuda brand name was owned by reknowned vintage guitar collector and expert Mac Yasuda. The brand was launched in 1998 and he trademarked it to be used for guitars, mandolins, ukuleles and banjos. The trademark was cancelled in 2005 and the Masterbilt. The M Yasuda guitars were made in the late 1990s by Crafters of Tennessee, Greg Rich in particular collaborated with Mac Yasuda.
