Matthew Rubendall has been building and repairing guitars since the early 2000s. His approach combines modern and traditional elements of guitar construction. His standard model loosely recalls the body style of a Herman Hauser but with elevated fretboards for playing comfort and stability, and compensated nuts and saddles to keep the guitars playing perfectly in tune. Rubenhall handcrafts the rosettes and decorative details that are unique to each guitar, and finishes every instrument with the French polish technique.
